Back on the road in October 2013, the Gewandhaus Orchestra players will be bringing their special sounds – the Gewandhaus Klang – to the concert halls of London, Paris, and Vienna on a European Tour delivered by DHL.

The Brahms Cycle is already in full swing in Leipzig, as the Gewandhaus Orchestra has been playing movements from Brahms’ symphonies at home since the start of the music season. A livestream broadcast from the Great Hall on October 19, 2013 and seen at www.dhl.com/inmotionExternal Link / New Window brought the concert for Violins and Orchestra D-Major 77 and the Symphony in e-Minor 78 to viewers around the world.

Thanks to a partnership with DHL, the players hit the road on a tour of European culture capitals directly following the concert. The second stage of the 2013 European Tour by the Gewandhaus Orchestra has them performing Brahms 14 times in three weeks as they travel between London, Paris, and Vienna.
