Manchester United Tour 2012 Kicks Off
The Manchester United Tour 2012, delivered to the world by DHL, kicked off this week, with a first tour stop in Durban, South Africa.
Ahead of a much-anticipated match against Amazulu FC, the tour organizers held a special player appearance event at the Durban Country Club, with players Hernandez, Carrick and Macheda doing a meet-and-greet.
The men then made their way across town to an open training session, where more than 10,000 fans made their way to see the boys in action the day before their match at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Competitors from Amazulu FC also took to the pitch to train, adding to the exciting atmosphere, where proud Manchester United fans hung their shirts over the sides of the stands.
Unfortunately for Durban, the team brought not only their presence, but also the rainy weather from Manchester! Nevertheless, fans stood their ground, and it was definitely worth the wait as after an hour of training, Manchester United players made themselves available for autographs and photos.
