Reds Remain Unbeaten on Tour 2012!
Sir Alex Ferguson oversees another Manchester United win on the DHL Tour 2012. 23-year old newcomer, Shinji Kagawa scores first goal with the Reds.
Sticking to their winning streak, Manchester United players beat Shanghai Shenhua 1-0 in a friendly last week that drew excited fans out on a hot and humid day.
With Sir Alex Ferguson along for the ride, the players hopped the DHL Pre Season Tour 2012 bus to kick around in a park ahead of the evening game, which packed the fans in.
The warm weather and advice from the club's sports scientist to stay on UK time resulted in a bit of a rough go for the boys, with the first and only goal of the game arriving at the 68th minute. The home team definitely had the advantage.
Still, new face, 23-year old Shinji Kagawa was able to secure his first goal in a Manchester United jersey. Despite having only just joined the club in June, the ex-Borussia Dortmund midfielder is off to a flying start!
After just ten days on the road, the stopover in Shanghai means Manchester United's already halfway through their three-continent Tour 2012.
Next up: Oslo, Norway.
