2012 was certainly a thriller and fans watched Ryan Hunter-Reay pilot his way up the leaderboard with three consecutive wins mid-season that set the stage for his 2012 Championship. After an accident in Sonoma appeared to shatter the American’s hopes a title, Hunter-Reay came back to win in the last laps on the streets of Baltimore, putting him in a position to drive for the Championship at the season finale in California.
