DHL Energy Performance & Management
DHL Energy Performance & Management is a carbon consultancy unit established to accelerate the reduction of our customers' carbon footprints. Our unit supports GoGreen, the worldwide climate protection program of DHL's parent company Deutsche Post DHL.
Our mission is to create and execute greenhouse gas reduction strategies exclusively for DHL and DHL customers by assessing, reducing, replacing, and in some cases neutralizing direct and indirect carbon emissions.
About DHL Energy Performance & Management
DHL Energy Performance & Management is a team with considerable expertise in key areas of carbon reduction strategy. Our team includes scientists, heating and electrical engineers, specialists in carbon reporting, management consultants, logistics professionals, and experts in organizational implementation. Working together, we are striving to achieve a better balance with our environment through specific measurable actions. Our work towards corporate carbon reduction is focused on building meaningful, sustainable carbon neutral business practices for our partners.
Who we are
For businesses, the issue of climate change and rising CO2 emissions presents a challenge and an opportunity. At DHL Energy Performance & Management, we believe that the success of a business is supported by a healthy planet and strong local communities.
Climate change is a challenge for us all, and particularly those with responsibility for the carbon footprint of corporate operations. In a global economy with supply chains and logistics networks spanning the globe, transportation and warehousing create a significant amount of CO2 emissions.
Especially in the logistics industry, there are savings to be made which can bring additional benefit such as cost reduction and efficiency, preparation for upcoming legislative requirements and penalties, and increased employee satisfaction.
The market for low-carbon goods and services is expected to experience high growth in the future and a plan to reduce carbon emissions will be at a competitive advantage.
