Meet our People

Come and discover why DHL is the first choice for all those looking to take an active role in a company where their skills are needed and rewarded.

“Having so many different nationalities over the meeting and lunch table, DHL is a truly international workplace. There is always so much more to learn, beyond the strictly task-related: Cross-cultural communication, interdependency skills, conflict management, persuasion and negotiation - you name it!”

Ali
Project Analyst - Service Parts Logistics
DHL Supply Chain, Belgium

My DHL Experience

I joined DHL through the AIESEC global internship program as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst within Procurement. I was part of the team responsible for procuring cars, vans and trucks for DHL’s Ground Fleet in Europe.

As a Project Analyst in Service Parts Logistics, I am currently part of a project that aims to increase the efficiency of our costing and billing processes. I am tasked with redesigning and detailing these processes, as well as implementing, managing & tracking process changes.
I have received various trainings and certifications enhancing my existing skills and adding new ones. These help me perform well in my job role, as well as provide me with professional growth and depth. This is then complimented by the amiable and supportive attitudes of my colleagues.

“What I value the most is that I work in a very diverse environment with high potential people from whom I learn every day.”

My DHL Experience

After graduating from university, I had the opportunity to observe and understand HR processes within different companies and student organizations which helped me in deciding to develop my career in this field. After an initial internship experience as a HR Officer in the Philippines, I joined DHL through the AIESEC internship program as part of the HR Development team for DHL Express Europe.

I am responsible for coordinating e-learning activities for the region. These include coordinating & educating local e-learning administrators, creating communication campaigns and making e-learning modules available for employees. I also provide support to countries in the implementation of strategic HR Development programs, focussing on employee engagement and leadership development.

I am glad to have the opportunity to learn a lot about HR processes in such a large, global company. Thanks to my active engagement in several European projects, I continue to gain deep insight and stretch my competencies within this area.
