DHL’s experience includes packaging solutions for polymeric materials such as polyethylene or polypropylene. Bulk polymers are fed from railcars into form, fill and seal lines where DHL packages the product into a range of forms, from 55 pound bags to 2,000 pound boxes. Materials can then be stored and loaded for distribution nationally or internationally - including “sea bulk", which involves loading pellets into plastic-lined containers for export. DHL solutions are highly cost effective and provide full item level and batch traceability.
