In recent years, bond storage in all China gateways have grown significantly due to increasing import shipment volume. To improve bond management productivity, and provide best-in-class clearance service, benchmarking market practice, DHL-Sinotrans will start to charge Bond Storage Fee for inbound shipments from Feb 1st, 2009.

Bond Storage Fee applies to all the shipments inbound to China, including DHL-cleared and customer self-cleared shipments.

Charging Method:

• Days of free storage: 5 working days, public holiday & weekend exempted
• Storage Fee rate: RMB 0.5 per kilo per day
• Minimum Charge: RMB 50/ hawb
• Storage Fee is subject to chargeable weight of each shipment

Bond Storage Fee will be shown on invoice together with Duty & Tax, and collected upon shipment delivery or by monthly billing.
