Linking the logistics operations to the production facility, we provide shuttle services for just-in-time and just-in-sequence transfer of production parts, etc., to manufacturing lines. We also return empty transport assets (e.g. containers) for reuse.

Vendor hubs handle the warehousing and delivery of spare parts and components from original equipment manufacturers (OEM) - based on demand pull. Also known as 'supplier parks' and 'inbound hubs', they are usually located close to manufacturing facilities and are typically shared by a number of suppliers.

Combining multiple-customer operations and services in integrated facilities, DHL supports manufacturers' production operations by providing core inventory management expertise and value-added services - such as kitting, quality control, sequencing and assembly.
We also provide logistics support for our customers in free trade zones by managing the complexities of duty payments, bonded warehouses and inventories on their behalf - even in countries where they have no fiscal representation.
