Global trade transactions

Our Trade Automation Service (or TAS) allows you to take full control of the information flows and processes that accompany international shipment transactions. Now you can improve the speed and accuracy of all transactions, with access to a single source of global trade information and the benefit of useful support tools.

The Trade Automation Service includes:

• Landed Cost Calculator - estimate costs of importing and exporting a shipment including handling, insurance, import/export duties and taxes
• Product Compliance - verify all shipments comply with import and export regulations
• Comparative Services - compare landed costs and product compliance for any number of origins and destinations
• Trade Documents - view and create essential trade documents for all shipments
• Interactive Classification - HTC and ECN commodity codes for quick and accurate product classification
• Restricted Party Screening - access real-time information on all individuals, companies and countries subject to import/export restrictions or embargoes

We also provide supporting resources and handy management tools so that you can customise TAS to suit your personal needs.

Until now, DHL has been offering its Trade Automation Service (TAS) at no cost to all on-line customers.

However, from May 3rd 2004, there will be a fee for this service. DHL will offer subscriptions to TAS which will be invoiced to your DHL account. Any existing credits which you have will not be valid after this date.
