European Air Transport (EAT) is DHL's airline, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

European Air Transport (EAT) is DHL's airline for Europe and part of the Middle East and Northern Africa.

Today we hold a top position in air cargo. Our unvarying aim is to deliver DHL's packages to the right place within the right time.

EAT's headquarter is based at Brussels Airport, with the majority of our aircraft maintenance being done at our base in Leipzig, Germany.

Our flight crew operates the Airbus A300-B4 and the Boeing B757, mainly during the night. Our fleet counts 29 aircraft in total, flying to more than 50 destinations.

EAT counts over 800 employees located in Brussels or Leipzig. 30% of our workforce are flight crew members..

We hold JAR-OPS, JAR-TRTO, PART-145 and PART-M approvals.
European Air Transport is Part-147 certified (BE.147.018) to conduct maintenance Task/Type training and examinations on:

  • Airbus A300B2/B4 (GE CF6) and differences to cargo conversions
  • Boeing 757-200/-300 (RR RB211) and differences to package/special freighters
  • Boeing 767-200/300 (GE CF6) and differences to freighters
  • Boeing 777-200/300 (GE 90) and differences to freighters
