DHL Express and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions today entered a 3-year multi-million EUR agreement. Dr. Thomas Uhlig, President of Global Supply Chain Management and Alexander Stapf, Logistics Director of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions and Wolfgang Albeck, CEO DHL Express Germany, officially signed the contract at the DHL Express Global Head Office in Bonn. The contract is yet another extension of a successful partnership covering the last 6 years.
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a leading global supplier of precision seals for safety critical applications in the industrial, automotive and aerospace markets. The company offers a unique range of sealing products using proprietary materials, innovative manufacturing methods and patented products. As a leading automotive supplier to tier-1 and tier-2 manufacturers their input begins in design, from the initial stages of vehicle development through to final build and aftermarket support.
DHL Express mainly serves Trelleborg Sealing Solutions with its Time Definite and EUROPLUS Day Definite road based products. Time Definite is a customized door-to-door export, import or domestic delivery of documents and parcels by 4 different precise time options on the next possible business day. DHL EUROPLUS is a Day Definite product that offers a high level of reliability, late pick/up and early delivery times, as well as a fast and convenient premium systemized road-based service all over Europe. Five to six DHL trucks leave from the Stuttgart headquarters every day and head to destinations all over Europe, as well as delivering to the nearby Stuttgart airport for further distribution worldwide.
