DHL's contract manufacturing services are designed for customers wishing to take logistics outsourcing to an advanced level. They fall into two broad categories:
- food and beverage - including blending, mixing and filling
- engineering/automotive assembly - including sequencing, kitting and sub-assembly.

DHL's food manufacturing solutions cover the production of complex, multi-component products - and include carton, pouch and canister filling in the following media:
- rigid containers (composite and plastic containers, metal cans and glass or plastic jars)
- flexible containers (form fill and seal pouches, cartons, slim-sticks and stand-up/re-closable pouches).
Our manufacturing solutions for hot and cold fill beverages and concentrates include filling in the following media:
- plastic bottles (PET) and glass containers
- shelf-stable containers (paperboard, plastic cup and bag-in-a-box).
We also offer a full range of turnkey manufacturing and other solutions, including:
- site selection and development
- facility and systems design
- new facility start-up and operation
