Information on sending a shipment to Mexico

Prohibited commodities
Wood pencils can't be imported by the MEX gateways. From September 15th, 2005 any material can be imported with wooden packings, in concordance with a mexican custom regulation, except when wooden packing will be marked according to International Agreement of Protection Phitosanitary. Software CD's can't be imported by SLW Gateway - Standard DHL prohibitions plus:

Certain commodities need to be accompanied by an invoice and, in some cases, additional customs documentation. Other commodities are considered as 'Documents' and only require a DHL Airwaybill to be completed. The following list explains what you need to do in order to ship various commodities.

All other commodities should be shipped via DHL Parcel Express and should be accompanied by an Airwaybill and Invoice.
