Sustainability has never been more important. Our Group-wide environmental protection programme GoGreen is an expression of our strong sense of responsibility. The programme’s main objective is to reduce and/or avoid emissions of greenhouse gases and local air pollutants. By the year 2050 we want to reduce all logistics-related emissions to zero. We are also supporting our customers in improving their sustainability credentials when shipping with DHL.

How can you GoGreen with DHL Express?
GoGreen Plus - Sustainable Aviation Fuel
When selected, DHL will reduce (inset) CO2 emissions from air transport through the purchase of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). SAF can reduce lifecycle carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional jet fuel. GoGreen Plus supports Scope 3 emission reductions in alignment with the Science Based Target initiative. The process is audited annually by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Carbon Footprint Reporting
Carbon footprint reporting supports your business to share transparent figures about the environmental impact of your logistics. With DHL you can choose from two report options:
- Carbon Estimate Report - a high level view of your shipments' greenhouse gas emissions. Or
- Carbon Footprint Report - a detailed report of actual carbon emissions from DHL Express services, using advanced calculation methodology, enabling you to have visibility of, and manage, your own carbon emissions.
