A well-packed shipment helps ensure its pristine condition throughout delivery. You can use your own packaging or order packaging supplies from DHL.

The air waybill or AWB contains all information necessary for the transportation of your shipment. It is generated at the end of your shipment creation on MyDHL+.

Your shipment will be identified by a unique 10-digit code known as your AWB number that acts as the reference for your shipment.

Inserting complete and accurate details during shipment creation helps to ensure that your AWB reflects and tally with your actual shipment.

The shipping invoice is used as a supporting document for what you declare on your AWB.

You can create an invoice as you create your shipment on MyDHL+. It is only required for parcel shipments (not document shipments).

Your invoice is used to clear customs, so it must be accurate and corresponds with the contents of your shipment and your AWB.
