Traffic disruptions in Holland due to NATO Summit

June 6, 2025

On June 24 and 25, the NATO Summit 2025 will take place in The Hague. For this international event, the Netherlands will host dozens of world leaders and thousands of delegates. To ensure their safe transportation between Schiphol and The Hague, extensive security and traffic measures will be in place throughout the region.

What does this mean for you?

Between Sunday, June 22 and Thursday, June 26, significant traffic disruptions are expected in the Randstad area, particularly on routes between Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam. These measures will include:

  • Road closures
  • Detours
  • Increased security on highways and local roads

To help us maintain the best possible service during this time, we kindly ask that you temporarily adjust your regular pickup times in the abovementioned areas for this week. Please schedule pickups between 09:30 and 14:30. This will enable us to better manage the expected traffic conditions and ensure timely and efficient processing of your shipments.

Even though these circumstances are beyond our control, we will of course do everything we can to continue our service and operations as reliably as you are used to.
