Winter Surcharge Norway
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration have toughened the requirements for driving in Norway during the winter, which implies higher standards for tire types and tread pattern on both trucks and trailers.
In order to comply with the new legislative requirements and ensure capacity over the winter, we have to dedicate suitable transport equipment to serve our Norwegian activities. It is therefore necessary to add a fee to the current freight rates in order to cover the increased costs.
The surcharge is imposed from November 1st to April 30th.
