We use Sustainable Aviation Fuel made from renewable waste‑based feedstocks such as used cooking oilor or other renewable resources, that is specifically designed to be a substitute for traditional jet fuel.

How Does It Work?
Decarbonize your value chain with Book and Claim
Insetting allows businesses to account for Scope 3 CO₂e reductions within their transportation value chain through Book and Claim.
In contrast to "offsetting" - where businesses compensate their Scope 3 emissions through environmental programs like reforestation and habitat restoration projects - GoGreen Plus enables the allocation of certified Scope 3 CO₂e/GHG emissions reductions within the transportation value chain via Book and Claim, which is also referred to as "insetting".
Book and Claim
An integral part of insetting is the “Book and Claim” system. Sometimes, Sustainable Fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) or Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) are not readily available for immediate use. Whether constrained by production capacity or costs, the “Book and Claim” system lets us decouple the environmental benefit from where the fuel is physically used
Fuel Tracking
When a sustainable fuel supplier produces Sustainable Fuels, they generate a Sustainable Fuel Declaration based on the quantity of sustainable fuel they make using renewable feedstocks. When we purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel, we receive the Sustainable Fuel Decalaration, which allows us to claim the environmental benefits - such as the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions associated with this fuel - and pass them on to our customers through the Book and Claim mechanism.
Benefit Transfer
When you select GoGreen Plus for a shipment, your package might not have been shipped in a sustainable fuel powered aircraft or vehicle, but shipments somewhere in our global network did. Your purchase of GoGreen Plus replaced fossil-based fuel and reduced overall transport emissions - and you get the credit for that through an official GoGreen Plus CO₂e Reduction Certificate.
