DHL Supply Chain CEE Strengthens Leadership in Hungary to Drive Continued Growth and Customer Excellence

Hungary remains a key growth market for DHL Supply Chain CEE, playing an important role in supporting international customers and enabling integrated, end-to-end supply chain solutions across the region. DHL Supply Chain is pleased to announce new leadership appointments in Hungary, reinforcing the strategic importance of the Hungarian market within the Central and Eastern Europe cluster and the company’s continued commitment to delivering outstanding service and long-term value to customers.

The strengthened leadership structure reflects DHL’s continued investment in capabilities that support sustainable growth and operational excellence. DSC CEE is led by Filip Budík, CEO DHL Supply Chain CEE, who oversees the strategic development and performance of the cluster.

Effective 1 June 2026, Peter Okenka  assumes the role of Managing Director DHL Supply Chain Slovakia & Hungary. Peter brings extensive leadership experience across the CEE cluster and a strong track record of driving operational excellence, customer development, and business growth. During his career at DHL Supply Chain, he has successfully led major operational implementations, strengthened strategic customer partnerships, and contributed to the continuous development of high-performing organizations. In his expanded role, Peter will focus on further developing both markets, enhancing regional collaboration, and accelerating growth through a strong customer-centric and performance-driven approach.

We are also pleased to announce that Jan Holcman will take on the role of Operations Director DHL Supply Chain Hungary, also effective 1 June 2026. Jan brings deep operational expertise and strong leadership experience gained across complex logistics environments within DHL Supply Chain. Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in delivering large scale customer implementations, improving operational performance, and building strong and engaged teams. His appointment further strengthens the operational leadership in Hungary and supports the continued development of a high-performing organization focused on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

DSC Hungary is a well-established logistics hub with strong operational capabilities and a diversified customer base. DHL Supply Chain Hungary currently operates over 400,000 square meters of warehouse space, employs more than 1,500 people, and serves around 40 customers across multiple industries. Its key capabilities include high-complexity automotive, EV, battery and industrial logistics, multi-country orchestration and Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) solutions, scalable BTS (Built-to-Suit) and automation-ready warehousing, as well as sustainability-driven supply chain engineering solutions. DHL Supply Chain Hungary is also certified as a Great Place to Work, reflecting the organization’s strong focus on employee engagement, development, and workplace culture. With these capabilities, Hungary continues to play an important role as a growth engine within DHL Supply Chain CEE, supporting both regional and global supply chain networks.
