DHL Express opens new service point in South Jakarta to boost international and domestic shipping access
Press Release: Jakarta, Indonesia, 9 April 2026
The new service point is located in Fatmawati
DHL Express has opened its newest DHL service point in Fatmawati to expand customer access to international and domestic express shipping services across one of South Jakarta’s busiest commercial corridors.
The new service point supports the growing movement of export, import, and domestic shipments driven by SMEs, online sellers, creative workers, and corporate clients who require time critical delivery using DHL’s global air network and domestic express routes.
Indonesia’s cross-border e-commerce activity continues to accelerate, with the market valued at USD 120 billion, supported by rising digital adoption and strong demand both for imports into Indonesia and exports to global buyers. Cities like Jakarta remain key hubs for this growth due to their high connectivity and dense commercial centres1.
Cross-border shipments are forecasted to grow at a CAGR 5.99% through 2026–2031, highlighting the increasing reliance on international express services, particularly for shipments that require fast transit times and high reliability2.
“Many of our customers today ship in multiple directions, exporting samples and finished goods to overseas clients, importing high-value items or materials, and sending domestic shipments across major Indonesian cities,” said Ahmad Mohamad, Senior Technical Advisor DHL Express Indonesia. “The Fatmawati service point is built to further strengthen our network of customer touch points and to bring greater convenience to local shippers.”
Strategically located near Pondok Indah, Cipete, TB Simatupang, and Cilandak, the service point serves South Jakarta’s fast‑growing ecosystem of entrepreneurs, retail brands, expatriate communities, and digital-first businesses.
The opening of the new Fatmawati Service Point further strengthens DHL Express Indonesia’s nationwide footprint, reinforcing our presence across key locations to support customers’ shipping needs.
