In connection with the Covid-19 outbreak, on Saturday 23 January the Government introduced particularly strict measures in the following municipalities: Enebakk, Frogn, Indre Østfold, Moss, Nesodden, Nordre Follo, Oslo, Vestby, Våler and Ås.

On Sunday 24 January, these measures were extended to apply to another 15 municipalities: Asker, Aurskog-Høland, Bærum, Drammen, Horten, Lier, Lillestrøm, Lunner, Lørenskog, Marker, Nittedal, Rakkestad, Rælingen, Råde and Skiptvet.

These measures do not directly affect our operations, but problems may occur if consignees’ premises are closed. We have limited capacity for storage, so items that cannot be delivered will be returned if necessary and extra costs will apply. Therefore, we ask our customers to check that their recipients can receive the goods before they are sent.

The measures apply in the first instance until 31 January.

This is a challenging situation for all parties and we will do our utmost to secure our network and deliver the goods, however deviations may occur.

Should you have any questions relating to this, please feel free to contact your customer representative who will be happy to assist with information and follow-up.

Sincerely yours,

DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (Norway) AS
