With reference to information published 05.05.2020.

We can now see a positive trend towards a more normalized everyday life and operation, but in order for this to continue we need to follow the official health advice and make the necessary reservations. Both time consumption in connection with border crossings and the access to capacity in the transport market have stabilized somewhat, but we are still facing challenges with increased costs to secure capacity, as well as maintaining operations. The Norwegian krone is still weaker than normal, but it has improved compared to the bottom level we experienced last month.

Based on this, effective from 01.06.2020 we will reduce the COVID-19 fee from 8% to 4% on international transport  and from 13% to 8% on domestic transport services. Fees still need to be maintained as our subcontractors also impose fees to cover their increased costs, but this is continuously evaluated and we will make changes as soon as we see that this is possible.

DHL Global Forwarding, Freight Norway is closely monitoring the situation around the corona virus. Our assessments are based on public health advice and takes the necessary steps to safeguard our employees and subcontractors to prevent further spread.

Furthermore, deviations may occur at pickup/delivery time as capacity is still a challenge. We will keep you up to date on any deviations and will do our best to find alternative solutions if needed.

Should you have any questions relating to this, please feel free to contact your customer representative who will be happy to assist with information and follow-up.

Sincerely yours,

DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (Norway) AS
