As Vice President of Life Sciences and Healthcare Americas since March 2017, Claudia Roa is responsible for developing sector strategy, enabling and driving the development of best-fit end-to-end solutions, creating business growth opportunities for DHL’s largest customers, and driving innovation. She is a member of the Customer Solutions & Innovation Senior Management Team and the DHL Life Sciences & Healthcare Customer Logistics Board.

Her career started at AEI/Florcarga in Colombia, where she held various key leadership positions, including sales and operations management, and was managing director of the Free Trade Zone Distribution Center. DHL acquired AEI/Florcarga in 1998 and Claudia relocated from Colombia to the USA in 2003. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Javeriana of Bogota, Colombia. Claudia speaks Spanish, English, and some Portuguese, and has two children.

Meredith (Meri) Stevens is currently the Johnson & Johnson Worldwide Vice President, Consumer Health Supply Chain and Deliver. Meri assumed the Deliver leadership role in May 2019.  In July 2020, she expanded her leadership responsibilities to include the Consumer Health Supply Chain as well. Prior to this, Meri led J&J Supply Chain Strategy and Deployment, a position she’d held since 2015.

Meri is responsible for the Consumer Health Supply Chain organization end to end and all Johnson & Johnson Deliver Logistics, Distribution & Customer service (Deliver) functions. In her role, she is transforming these organizations to achieve world-class reliability and performance. By embracing the power of digital, her teams are achieving greater agility, innovation, and resilience, assuring the continued supply of life-saving medicines and essential supplies to patients, consumers, customers, and communities globally.

Prior to J&J, Meri gained more than 30 years of operations experience through a series of senior leadership positions with global corporations. Most recently, she was the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Newell Rubbermaid. She previously held operations and procurement leadership roles at Tyco, Bertelsmann, Knoll, and General Electric.

Meri holds a B.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial Management, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. At Johnson & Johnson, she is an executive sponsor of our Youth Pillar of the Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing, and Design (WiSTEM2D) program. Outside of J&J, Meri is on the US Board of GS1 and the Advisory Boards of the Smithsonian Science Education Center.

Ilhami Arslanoglu was appointed as the Vice President for Life Sciences and Healthcare of DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation, EMEA in July 2020. Passionate about the life sciences and healthcare industry, he leads a team responsible for the Group’s top customers in the region, leading and providing senior counsel to help simplify and manage complex international supply chains for the world’s leading enterprises.

Prior to his current role, Ilhami was the Regional Head of DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation Asia Pacific and led DHL’s Auto-Mobility sector team in the region since 2012. He has more than 20 years of logistics industry experience – with more than 15 years especially focused on the dynamic and swiftly evolving automotive logistics industry.

Ilhami first joined DHL in 2007 as DHL Supply Chain EMEA’s Vice President for Automotive and Industrial, where he was responsible for driving the automotive and industrial development business. He then moved to DHL Global Customer Solutions in EMEA as VP of Automotive where he developed the passenger vehicle sub-sector for the Group and grew the company’s share of business from major automotive manufacturers globally.

Prior to DHL, Ilhami worked for CEVA Logistics in Italy and Austria, followed by a three-year assignment as General Manager for the company’s automotive logistics industry in China.

He graduated from the Corporate State University in Mannheim, Germany with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Logistics.

Trishna Bharadia, BA(Hons), MFPM(Hon) is a multi-award-winning health advocate and patient engagement advisor working to get the patient voice heard louder, stronger, and more effectively throughout the healthcare journey and medicines development lifecycle.

From the UK, she works nationally and internationally with multiple stakeholders, including industry (e.g. pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organizations), healthcare systems, clinicians, and patient organizations. Her work includes consultancy, co-creation of services and information, writing, and media outreach. She lives with several long-term physical and mental health conditions, including multiple sclerosis, which she was diagnosed with, in 2008, aged 28. She’s particularly passionate about good patient engagement practices, diversity issues in healthcare, and equitable patient engagement.

Among the awards she has received, she has been recognized by the UK Prime Minister’s Office with a Points of Light Award for her work with patient communities and recently won the Healthcare Collaborator category in the global WEGO Health Awards. In 2015, her advocacy work led her to be chosen as one of six inspirational people, out of over 11,000 nominations, to participate in a special four-part edition of “Strictly Come Dancing” (“Dancing with the Stars”) on BBC1, dancing her way into the nation’s hearts and telling her MS story to millions of viewers.

Craig is responsible for Global Logistics across commercial products and leads a team that drives excellence in global logistics practices, trade and compliance, and has a remit to develop capabilities to meet our current and future market and product needs. Craig brings 20+ years of experience in executive and operational roles in Commercial and Clinical Supplies organizations focussing on Forecasting & Planning, Vendor Management, IRT, and Logistics at BMS, Celgene, and Fisher Clinical Services.

Tanya Silva Alcorn is the Vice President of Pfizer’s BioPharma Global Supply Chain, reporting to Mike McDermott, President of Pfizer Global Supply.

Tanya has oversight for demand, supply, and inventory management for ~600 products, 15,000 SKUs across 175 markets, and logistics operations both inter-company and within the market. Tanya also has overall accountability for the global end-to-end supply chain planning and orchestration for the BioPharma portfolio inclusive of internal and external manufacturing assets.

Additionally, Tanya and her team are accountable for the global supply planning, management, and distribution of the COVID-19 Vaccine including the development and management of the innovative thermal shipper and 24/7 supply chain control tower. Lastly, Tanya in 2020 led the COVID-19 pandemic response task force for Pfizer Global Supply.

Tanya’s team includes a team of global brand supply leaders and plant planning teams for external supply plants, internal API plants, and internal SOD and Sterile Injectables plants. Tanya’s team is the primary supply chain liaison to the global finance and global commercial teams and point of accountability for supply management including escalation and coordination of resolution. Tanya and her team drive continuous improvement across the supply chain to enhance our service delivery commitment by continuing to partner and strengthen the connection with our manufacturing sites, the regional supply chain teams, and our commercial partners.

Tanya joined the company in 2000 at the Biotech Pearl River, New York site as a Quality Assurance Specialist and worked within the Quality organization in various positions of increasing scope and responsibility including as Director of Quality Systems responsible for stability program, QC lab oversight, change control program and other quality support areas.   In 2008, Tanya was appointed to the site leadership team as Senior Director of Technical Services in Pearl River where she led several business transformations and process improvement initiatives while ensuring key strategic manufacturing and quality technical objectives were completed on time.  From there, Tanya has taken roles of growing global responsibility in areas of global network strategy, new product launches, and on-market lifecycle management.

Since January 2019 Thomas Ellmann has been responsible for the X-BU development of Clinical Trials Logistics. He coordinates the Solutions and Services development across the different Divisions in DHL and serves as a member of the Global Life Sciences Senior Management Sector Team.

In past months he supported DHL Covid-19 Vaccines distribution as a co-author of the White Papers on “Pandemic Resilience” and is leading the business development efforts in the Global Task Force to support distribution readiness for global vaccines manufacturers and Governments and NGOs.

Prior to this role, Thomas has joined the DHL CSI Team in January 2016 where he was responsible as a Sales Leader for the EMEA region. In this position, he had responsibility for the Sales and business development for a portfolio of large Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices companies as well as territory responsibility for the Emerging Markets in the Middle East and Africa.

Before in Nov 2007 – Dec 2015, Thomas was the Global Sector Head for the Life Sciences and Chemicals Sector for our Road Freight Division and was representing DHL Freight on the Global Life Sciences Steering Committee.

Prior to joining DHL, Thomas has spent several years in the FMCG (Procter & Gamble, Nike) and Specialty Chemicals (Firmenich SA) Industry where he had several roles in Supply Chain and Customer Services.

Thomas holds a Master's degree in Physics from the WWU Münster, Germany.

Based in Zaventem, Belgium, Danny Hendrikse is Vice President of Intercompany Operations – the Pfizer organization that is accountable for end-to-end intercompany logistics delivery, order management operations, logistics operations compliance, and trade management and compliance. This includes financial flows from and between plants until delivery at the market level, following the principles and parameters of Pfizer’s highly orchestrated supply network. Particular areas of focus include the order management platform, physical delivery network platform / global transportation, master data and IC financial flows, conveyance security, and logistics compliance covering temperature-controlled logistics. In this leadership role, Danny oversees the development and execution of Intercompany Operations strategies that align with those of Pfizer, Pfizer Global Supply, and Global Supply Chain. Danny is part of the Global Supply Chain Leadership team.

Prior to this position, Danny was the VP of Pfizer’s EMEA Logistics and Supply Operations, responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, logistics, and distribution in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In total, he has spent more than 25 years within the Pfizer organization in multiple operational supply chain positions.  Prior to Pfizer Danny has worked in supply chain operational roles in different industries (FMC, Plastics, Forwarding).

Before starting his career, Danny graduated from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Danny loves being outdoor and doing sports, theatre, and doing a great BBQ with friends.

Jean-Cedric Meeus joined UNICEF as Logistics and Emergency Specialist in 2001. Since then he performed in different Supply chain functions based in Mozambique, HQ NY (Supply Emergency Response Officer), HQ Copenhagen (Chief Emergency Supply Manager), Dakar Regional officer of Western and Central Africa as regional Supply Chain manager to finally take his current position in Copenhagen as Chief of UNICEF Global transport. Prior to UNICEF, he performed as Logistics Technical Specialist with MSF for 10 years.

Over his years of experience in Humanitarian and development Supply chain management, he had the opportunity to work in a large number of countries over the global mostly in complex contexts. Through his different positions, he managed pharmaceuticals, immunization, health, education, and WASH commodities to be delivered from origin to beneficiaries. Support UNICEF and Government program activities.
