DHL SUPPLY CHAIN THAILAND RECOGNIZED FOR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION AT GENDER FAIR 2023

DHL's commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and beyond was recognized at the Gender Fair 2023 with a certificate of honor

DHL Supply Chain, a global market leader for contract logistics solutions, was recognized at the Gender Fair 2023 in Thailand with a certificate of honor as a model network organization for its dedication to promoting gender equality.

Gender Fair 2023 is a joint networking activity hosted by the Department of Women's Affairs and Family Development, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, in partnership with the United Nations Organization for the Promotion of Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and its affiliated organizations.

The networking event, held on March 31 at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, aimed to raise awareness and encourage participation in the movement for gender equality in society, while recognizing and honoring organizations that focus on gender equality.

Steve Walker, CEO of DHL Supply Chain Thailand Cluster, emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive work environment that embraces diversity and recognizes the value of each individual, regardless of their background, culture, or identity. He commented, "I believe in developing a truly inclusive workplace where people of all abilities, races, nationalities, gender, sexual orientations, ages, and religions are valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Everyone should be respected and accepted for who they truly are."

Highlighting the importance of creating a work environment where employees can feel motivated, engaged, and committed, Boonma Chaisatiensap, Vice President of Human Resources at DHL Supply Chain Thailand Cluster said, "The strength of all the differences among individuals make us unique. Together, everyone can grow, develop and make valuable contributions."

Highlighting the significance of providing a safe and inclusive environment for individuals to thrive and reach their full potential, Challika Pothisarattana, Senior Director, Operations Excellence and Diversity and Inclusion Lead for DHL Supply Chain Thailand, said, "People have the right to be respected for being their true selves. It all starts from creating a safe and inclusive environment so that people can show their full potential."
