Summer Schedule Changes in European Road Freight – Check the Key Dates

Summer brings changes to DHL Freight’s European road freight schedules. Public holidays, the holiday season, and country-specific driving bans for heavy goods vehicles will affect transport flows and transit times across multiple markets.

For example, during Midsummer week, export loading schedules will deviate from the usual timetable. In addition, weekend driving bans in several countries during July and August may cause delays in transport. The holiday season will also have a particular impact on traffic to and from the Baltic countries, Central Europe, and Italy.
