Service Disruptions on the Verona–Rostock Rail Connection Due to Track Work in Germany
March 12, 2026
Track infrastructure maintenance work related to rail safety in the Dresden region is causing temporary disruptions to rail services on the Verona–Rostock route.
The work affects traffic flow and available capacity, resulting in the cancellation of one train rotation as well as temporary timetable and resource adjustments. Due to the maintenance work, train 43144 Verona–Rostock scheduled for Thursday, 12 March 2026, has been cancelled. The cancellation also causes knock-on effects on departures in the following days, as available capacity must be temporarily reorganised.
