Northern Germany: Railway network disruptions causing delays to international transports

Extensive construction works, maintenance activities, and other operational disruptions on the railway network in Northern Germany may affect international transports during week 22/2026 and beyond.

Possible delays particularly impact the following routes:

• Lübeck – Verona
• Rostock – Verona
• Padborg – Verona

The disruptions affect several areas of the northern railway network and may result in extended transit times. In addition, cancellations at short notice are possible.
