DHL Freight’s Domestic Pickup and Delivery Services to Transfer to the Kaukokiito Network Starting March 1, 2026

DHL Freight’s domestic pickup and delivery services will transfer to Suomen Kaukokiito Oy’s network starting March 1, 2026, excluding the Helsinki metropolitan area.

This change replaces the previous cooperation model with Posti. The change does not apply to the Helsinki metropolitan area (postal code areas 00100–08800 and 11000–11910), where DHL Freight will continue to operate domestic pickups and deliveries through its own transport network also in the future.

Transitioning to the Kaukokiito transport network strengthens DHL Freight’s domestic distribution capabilities and provides customers with improved delivery reliability and predictability. A similar operating model has been in use in the Joensuu economic region since February 2026, and the experiences have been positive.

Kaukokiito’s nationwide and dense distribution network, combined with strong local expertise, supports smooth pickups and precise deliveries throughout Finland. Integrating domestic transport with DHL Freight’s international services enables clearer and more efficient end-to-end solutions for customers with both domestic and international transport needs.

DHL Freight will closely monitor the transition phase to ensure that services continue without disruption and at the agreed quality level.
