DHL Fulfillment Network Expands Footprint Across the Nordics With Hubs in Finland and Norway

Press Release: March 30, 2026

  • DHL Fulfillment Network, the scalable e-commerce fulfillment product, is now available in two additional Nordic countries by rolling out capabilities at DHL Supply Chain logistics hubs in the Helsinki Capital Area and Oslo.
  • The expansion supports a continued demand for fast, reliable fulfillment services, as delivery times remain a critical factor for e-commerce vendors.

DHL Fulfillment Network (DFN), DHL Supply Chain’s ecommerce fulfillment product, is strengthening its footprint in the Nordic region through a rollout in Finland and Norway at established strategic logistics hubs in the Helsinki Capital Area and Oslo. By integrating DFN capabilities into these new locations, in addition to the already enabled flagship site in Borås in Sweden, e-commerce retailers can now access local and scalable fulfillment services across the Nordics, and gain easy access to the global network of DFN fulfillment hubs when growing their business.

This expansion comes in direct response to the continued demand for efficient logistics among e‑commerce businesses, where the DHL Fulfillment Network provides a world-class product and deep operational expertise to overcome key challenges by bringing inventory closer to end customers and ensuring fast, reliable delivery. DHL’s latest e-Commerce Trend Report shows that logistics offerings continue to play a critical role in online retail, where 96% of retailers say it directly influences sales. Consumers echo this sentiment, where 52% highlight long delivery times as a key frustration. Additionally, the newly released 2026 edition of the DHL Global Connectedness Report highlights that global goods trade remains on an upward trajectory and is expected to continue expanding in the coming years despite geopolitical headwinds. Connectedness levels between countries have also held steady, staying near the record highs last reached in 2022 and remaining broadly unchanged through 2025.

“The activation of our DHL Fulfillment Network product in Finland and Norway, alongside our established Borås hub in Sweden, is designed to meet customer needs in the Nordics with faster delivery, improved stock positioning and a variety of transport options. Bringing goods closer to the end consumer also helps with contingency, mitigating potential supply chain challenges and volatility that might arise”, says Otso-Tapio Forsblom, Managing Director, DHL Supply Chain Nordics.

Back in 2021, Sweden was one of the first countries in the world to offer the DHL Fulfillment Network product. Ever since, the network has continued to grow at a rapid pace. Today, DFN spans a truly global footprint, enabling online retailers of all sizes to access fast, flexible, data‑driven fulfillment services in over 80 countries across multiple regions in Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Australia – with Finland and Norway being two of the latest additions – allowing DFN customers to scale as needed.

Otso-Tapio adds, “With the new Nordic expansion being strategically activated in hubs in the capital regions of Finland and Norway, e‑commerce companies now have ability to plug into a unified fulfillment platform, with streamlined onboarding, real‑time visibility of inventory, and the ability to expand into new markets without adding operational complexity”.
