CONSTRUCTION LOGISTICS FOR SEMICONDUCTOR FABRICATIONS
Around the world – both in established locations and on greenfield sites – there’s unprecedented expansion of semiconductor manufacturing capacity. The construction of every new fabrication plant (fab) and extension of existing sites are expected to be on time and on budget. But for this to happen, companies need efficient and well-coordinated logistics.
Our latest semiconductor webinar took a deep-dive into the logistics challenges of time-bound fab construction. Featuring the expert interview with Shay Bar-El, Global Construction & New Build Logistics Manager for Intel, we explored key perspectives, experiences, and real-world use cases.
This virtual event examined how logistics can improve the efficiency of project delivery and add value. We explored all the logistics steps across the fab construction process, from supporting the construction site to ensuring the delivery of capital equipment and spare parts, as well as providing initial tooling and service logistics. An essential webinar for chip manufacturers and anyone involved in construction logistics for new fabrication plants.
