DHL AND TEACH FOR JAPAN SIGN OFFICIAL PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT TEACH FOR JAPAN’S EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

- The partnership strengthens DHL’s GoTeach activities in Japan
- Globally, DHL has formed 81 partnerships in 67 countries to help provide children access to education
DHL, the world‘s leading logistics provider has launched an official partnership with Teach For Japan (TFJ), a certified NPO, to support its education support program today as part of its global GoTeach program. Drawing experience from its 81 GoTeach partnerships globally, DHL Group will work closely with TFJ on activities to solve social issues through education, aiming to "realize a world where every child has access to a great education" in Japan in the future.
DHL Group has been working with the NPO Teach For All, the parent organization of TFJ, to support youth and children globally, including Uganda in Africa, India, the Philippines, and Bangladesh in Asia, and Germany, Armenia, and Denmark in Europe. In Japan, DHL has donated books, CDs, and DVDs collected from employees to fund where TFJ has been a beneficiary since 2012, and also has been supporting TFJ's fellowship program. With this official partnership, DHL Group will participate in more activities, including the participation of DHL employees in educational programs at school children's clubs operated by TFJ.
