DHL EXPRESS ACHIEVES BRONZE ASIA-PACIFIC STEVIE® AWARD IN JAPAN

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has achieved the Bronze Asia-Pacific Stevie® Award for the "Innovative Achievement in Organization Recovery" category at the 10th annual Stevie Awards in Asia Pacific.  The award is to recognize the innovation in approaches and initiatives taken to boost engagement and communication among customer service employees.

We will continue to work together as a company to provide the highest quality of customer service,” said Tony Khan, President and Representative Director of DHL Express Japan.

The award recognizes how a company has innovated to improve employee engagement despite busy periods as a result of an increase in customer queries. This has resulted not only in increased employee satisfaction but also a positive contribution to the business.

Looking back on the lack of opportunities for employee involvement, DHL Express has implemented various programs within the department, such as "Customer Service Week" and other customer service quality contests. This includes planning, preparation and execution of these activities led by frontline employees. As a result, the company achieved the highest-ever employee engagement level score in the Employee Opinion Survey in 2022. The customer service team also received the highest-ever scores for providing quality information on potential new customers to the sales team. Additionally, the customer service team was also recognized for going above and beyond their roles by promoting the company’s services to customers. This resulted in a positive contribution to the business.
