ORIGINAL MESSAGE
The previous strike notice from the Swedish Port Workers' Union (HF) came into full force from 12:00 today, 21 May, until 18:00, and affects those ports where the Swedish Port Workers' Union has members.
Specifically in Gothenburg's RoRo port but also in Malmö can we await an impact beyond our control. Risks with an impact in other ports can be noted as well.

If the partners do not agree, the following has also been notified:

  • Continuous strike planned from Thursday 22 May at 09:00 to Monday 26 May at 21:00.

The Dockworkers' Union is now also announcing further strike action:

  • Full strike from June 1 at 16:00 to June 2 at 23:00
  • Full strike June 3 at 06:00-23:00.
  • From 30 May, temporary work agencies are not allowed to perform any port services until further notice.

The previous notice from the Transport Workers' Union has been cancelled as the parties have reached an agreement in their negotiations.

The notices that come into effect will affect DHL Freight's international shipments with longer lead times. At the same time, you as a customer need to take into account longer lead times than with normal production as well as increased costs. We reserve the right to charge any additional costs incurred due to a situation that occurs beyond our control.
