DHL Re-Certified as One of Sweden's Leading Employers

Press Release: 17. January 2025

DHL confirms its position as a forward-leaning company and an employer at the forefront. The business has once again been certified as Top Employer Sweden.

It is the Swedish divisions of DHL Freight and DHL Global Forwarding that have received the certification from the Top Employers Institute for 2025.

The result increases for the third year in a row, thus consolidating a positive development for DHL. The business performs particularly high in terms of criteria such as business strategy, leadership, change and purpose. The increase can largely be attributed to the continuous improvement work in DHL's processes.

"Everything starts with us humans, nothing starts with results. This is an external acknowledgment that we succeed in creating a common purpose and understanding in our business. I am particularly proud that we perform so well in areas such as leadership, change, goal follow-up, values and ethics. These are invaluable foundations that give us a unique position for future growth," says Mathias Krümmel, Managing Director DHL Freight Sweden.

The certification is given after auditors from Top Employers Institute have conducted an in-depth review of the company's people-related processes in the six areas of control, shape, attract, develop, engage and unite. It states that DHL Freight and DHL Global Forwarding meet the requirements in all areas to use the certification in Sweden.

In Sweden, DHL has received the certification since 2015. In addition to the areas already mentioned, the development is particularly positive in the areas of the work environment, employee participation, integrity and organisation.

"We should be very pleased that we have once again succeeded in refining our operations in several areas that are crucial to us. The certification is proof that our effort with the continuous improvements we live and make in our everyday lives is working," says Emilie Ernstson, HR Director DHL Freight Sweden.

DHL Group has been awarded 68 certifications in a total of 61 countries for 2025. Division DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) receives 32 certifications in 28 countries, qualifying as a Top Employer Global.
