DHL Supply Chain Supports the Market Entry and Ramp-Up of Chery Group in France

Press Release: Paris, April 7, 2026

  • DHL Supply Chain announces a three-year partnership with Chery Group France, one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers.
  • Objective: support the launch and growth of the OMODA & JAECOO brand in France through a dedicated logistics set-up.

DHL Supply Chain, the global leader in contract logistics, announces the signing of a three-year strategic partnership with Chery Group France. The agreement aims to support the launch of the OMODA & JAECOO brand in the French market.

In a context of accelerated international expansion, Chery Group – one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers – is leveraging DHL Supply Chain’s expertise to structure and secure its aftermarket logistics operations in France. Already a partner of DHL Supply Chain in the UK since 2024, Chery Group has chosen to extend this collaboration to France in order to benefit from a high level of responsiveness, flexibility and reliability.

A logistics set-up designed to support growth

As part of this partnership, DHL Supply Chain will manage warehousing, order preparation and distribution of Chery Group automotive spare parts to a network of authorised dealers and repairers. Operations will be run from a multi-user logistics site located in Meung-sur-Loire, near Orléans (Loiret), designed to support the progressive ramp-up of volumes.

The scope includes the storage and management of several thousand spare part references, ranging from small components to body parts, including batteries and hazardous goods. At launch, the set-up will support six vehicle models, with strong expansion potential as additional models are introduced by 2028.

DHL Supply Chain also manages customs clearance operations in coordination with DHL Global Forwarding, another division of DHL Group. This integrated approach ensures secure and seamless international flows, from import through to final delivery across France.

Proven expertise supporting a strategic market entry

Building on experience gained in the UK, DHL Supply Chain will leverage its deep understanding of Chery Group’s operational requirements in France, as well as its expertise in rapidly deploying robust logistics solutions for high-growth brands.

The objective is clear: ensure optimal spare parts availability across the French territory, while delivering a level of service that meets the expectations of distribution networks and end customers.

« Customer satisfaction is our top priority. It starts well before the first vehicle is delivered. By partnering with DHL Supply Chain, we are ensuring that from day one, we can offer an aftersales service aligned with our ambitions. This partnership is a cornerstone of our commitment: we are not only entering the French market to sell vehicles, but to build a long-term brand, alongside local partners and for French customers », said Hanbang YU, CEO of Chery Group France.

« Chery Group’s entry into the French market is part of a fast-paced growth trajectory that requires an agile, reliable and immediately operational supply chain. We are proud to support the launch of the OMODA & JAECOO brand at this key stage of its development, with a logistics set-up designed to scale in line with its ambitions », commented Nico Schütz, CEO of DHL Supply Chain France.
