DHL Supply Chain Japan Launches Logistics Operations for Mozarc Medical

Partnership supports Mozarc Medical’s growth in Japan, a leading company in kidney disease treatment, with DHL Supply Chain’s proven expertise in medical device logistics

DHL Supply Chain Japan, the global leader in contract logistics, has commenced logistics operations for Mozarc Medical Japan G.K., a medical technology company focused on kidney health, at its Sagamihara Logistics Center in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

Mozarc Medical develops and provides innovative kidney health solutions such as vascular access for kidney disease treatment and acute renal function support, aiming for expansion into a broader range of treatment areas including home kidney care in the future.

DHL Supply Chain Japan supported Mozarc Medical in establishing its operational foundation in the Japanese market by ensuring a seamless transition from its existing operations. Today, DHL Supply Chain Japan provides end-to-end logistics services from the Sagamihara Logistics Center, including product storage and inventory management, labeling under a medical device manufacturing license, and nationwide distribution to wholesalers and sales offices. These services help Mozarc Medical establish a stable distribution network and a strong supply chain foundation for long-term growth.

The Sagamihara Logistics Center, which has been handling medical device operations since 2019, offers extensive experience and a proven track record specific to this area. It offers temperature-controlled zones of -20°C (frozen), 2°C to 8°C (refrigerated), and 15°C to 25°C (ambient), for maintaining product quality. The facility’s strategic location provides convenient access to both Haneda and Narita Airports, ensuring efficient domestic and international transport. Located midway between Mozarc Medical’s research and development (R&D) base in Fukuroi, Shizuoka and central Tokyo, it enhances transportation efficiency while offering scalability to support Mozarc Medical's growing operations.
