Komunikat prasowy: Warsaw, 14 September 2021

On Sunday, the volleyball players from MOS Wola Soccer Club won the Polish Volleyball Junior Championship in Będzin. This victory marks club’s first gold medal in the junior category. MOS Wola Warszawa has been sponsored by the leading provider of contract logistics for two years.
In the final, the team led by the coaching duo Damian Włoch and Konrad Cop prevailed over Dunajec Nowy Sącz 2-0. The team of newly announced Junior Champions of Poland includes Aleksander Nowik – tournament’s best attacker – and Jakub Krzemiński – championship MVP. Throughout the season, the team from Wola was defeated only once, which, together with the golden medal fought in the Polish Championship, bears witness to its great shape.
We wish to express our congratulations and commend our golden juniors, but also the entire staff of the MOS Wola Warsaw Club. This victory proves that we should all make effort to support sport and promote active lifestyle and healthy habits – not only among athletes, but also the youngest children – as well as teach them the principles of fair play and mutual respect. As a company, we do this in various fields in Poland and internationally, because we believe that social engagement should connect people and improve the common area of our lives, says Monika Duda, Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain in Poland.

Engaging in the development of the Warsaw volleyball club is only one of social projects aimed at supporting youth talented in sports, promoting physical activity and advocating fair play competition among children and youth. The company also participates in initiatives which, apart from promoting sport, support the development of women. As part of partnership, DHL Supply Chain sponsors not only young male volleyball players from MOS Wola Warszawa at the, but also talented female volleyball players. Staring from season 2021/2022, the Company will also support the senior team from Wola Tramwaje Warszawskie, which plays in men’s league 2. The logistics company has cooperated with young female footballers from the Diamonds Academy Soccer School for over 30 months. This partnership serves as evidence that team sports and female football may currently constitute one of the ways to deny the stereotypes held by girls, help them build faith in themselves and show broad prospects also beyond sport. The club, training over 200 girls aged 4-16, boasts the title of Polish Champion under 13, awarded at the beginning of June.
