2026-07-03 – DHL Freight: Disturbances in traffic to/from Italy due to maintenance work at the Brenner Pass

Applies to all international products: DHL Freight Standard, DHL Freight Direct, DHL Freight Priority, HDI and Easy Pallet

Due to extensive modernization and maintenance work, rail traffic through the Brenner Pass (Brennero) will be suspended from 18 July to 2 August 2026.

This disruption will have a significant impact on our shipments to and from Italy during this period. Transit times are expected to increase, and there is also a risk of capacity constraints affecting services to and from Italy.

Following consultation with DHL Freight, it may be possible to route limited shipment volumes via alternative transport routes.
