eBilling

eBilling is the process of replacing paper invoicing/manual spreadsheets with billing invoices sent electronically to the customer or to their chosen third party provider – e.g. Freight Payment Provider (FPP), Post Auditor.

FAQs about eBilling

  • Yes, eBilling is more secure than traditional methods of sending and receiving accounting documents. We use a combination of digital signature and strong encryption technology to secure all billing information.

  • Yes, our system complies with appropriate tax regulations of the European Union and the Slovak Republic.

  • Yes. Our e-invoicing system can be integrated into all main accounting software applications.

  • No, this service is free.

  • The electronic invoice contains a digital signature. This technology guarantees that the invoice was issued by DHL.

  • By default, an invoice is sent as an email attachment in the PDF format. You can save or otherwise process the received invoice according to your internal procedures and then pay for it.

  •  Electronic invoices are available in the online archive for 12 months.

  • In the meantime, any change to your business data must be made through our customer service or DHL Freight sales representative. You can change your eBilling language version and password online (under My Profile). You can also add other users to your account (under My Profile). Or, you can add multiple accounts to a single user (you must register individual accounts and assign them the same email address).

  • No. You will not need any special software or hardware to be able to receive electronic invoices from DHL. It is only necessary to ensure that the staff responsible for receiving invoices have access to e-mail and the Internet. Please also ensure that your spam filter does not block e-mails from ebillingfreight.com@dhl.com. This solution has been designed to work with Internet Explorer version 6.0. and above and with Adobe version 6 and above.

  • On the first page of the electronic invoice you will find the email address and telephone number of the invoice issuer that you can contact with questions.

  • No. eBilling has no effect on how you pay.

  • Legislatures of the European Union and Switzerland require that all electronic invoices include digital signatures. It represents a type of electronic authorization related to the given signed data. It uniquely determines the issuer of the document (DHL).

  • BEING SENT - Your invoice has been processed and is being transmitted

    SENDING ERROR - There was an error during transmission and your invoice could not be delivered to you

    SENT - Your invoice has been successfully transmitted

  • Essentially, you can use any Internet browser. We recommend Internet Explorer version 6 and higher. We recommend Acrobat Reader version 6 and higher to view PDF files.
