DHL Supply Chain, one of the world’s leading contract logistics providers, announced three leadership appointments that further strengthen its global and regional strategy and support long-term growth aligned with Strategy 2X30.

Jim Monkmeyer Appointed to Global Head of LLP & Supply Chain Orchestration

Jim Monkmeyer, currently President, Transportation, DHL Supply Chain North America, has been appointed Global Head of LLP & Supply Chain Orchestration, DHL Supply Chain, effective immediately.

“As supply chains become more global, interconnected, and volatile, orchestration has become one of the most critical capabilities our customers need,” said Andries Retief, Chief Development Officer, DHL Supply Chain. “This role is central to aligning strategy, technology, and execution across regions and functions. Jim’s deep experience in transportation, LLP, and network design will help customers build more integrated and fully orchestrated supply chains.”

Monkmeyer joined DHL Supply Chain in 2016, bringing extensive experience from England Logistics, Inc., where he served as Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Throughout his career, he’s built deep expertise in third‑party logistics and supply chain management. Monkmeyer is widely regarded as a global authority across disciplines, making him ideally suited to lead DHL Supply Chain’s expanding supply chain orchestration capabilities.

Adam Ruff, President, Transportation, North America

Adam Ruff Named President, Transportation, North America

Adam Ruff, currently Vice President, Strategy Product Development M&A, DHL Supply Chain North America, has been promoted to President, Transportation, DHL Supply Chain North America, effective immediately.

“Transportation is a critical growth engine for DHL Supply Chain in North America and strong leadership in this business has never been more important,” said Mark Kunar, Chief Executive Officer, DHL Supply Chain North America. “Adam brings a rare combination of deep transportation expertise, strategic insight, and a clear understanding of how to scale through organic growth, partnerships, and acquisitions. I’m confident he will continue to evolve our Transportation business to deliver greater value for our customers while supporting our long‑term growth strategy.”

Ruff joined DHL Supply Chain in January 2010 as Senior Director of Business Development, following a successful career at Schneider Logistics, where he served as Vice President of Business Development. Over more than three decades, Adam has held a range of leaderships roles in logistics and supply chain, including in transportation solutions, sales, strategy, and M&A. In his most recent role, he led strategic initiatives enabling informed decisions on where to play, how to win, and how to scale. In his new role, Adam will lead the continued evolution and growth of DHL Supply Chain’s Transportation business across North America.

Dave Moss, Head of Real Estate Solutions, North America

Dave Moss Appointed to Head of Real Estate Solutions, North America

Dave Moss is named Head of Real Estate Solutions, North America, DHL Supply Chain. Dave most recently served as Chief Financial Officer, DHL Supply Chain Latin America.

Dave’s appointment comes as supply chain real estate continues to evolve amid constrained warehouse availability, rising costs, and increasing customer demand for flexible, technology‑enabled solutions. His broad leadership background positions him to further strengthen real estate strategies that align operational performance with customer and market needs.

“Real estate is a key component of supply chain performance. Nearly every warehouse in a company’s logistics network presents a set of real estate opportunities for achieving operational and financial objectives,” Mark Kunar said. “Dave’s deep understanding of our business, combined with his broad leadership background, makes him the perfect choice to lead Real Estate Solutions. I’m confident he will build on the strong foundation already in place, driving facility strategies that align with customer needs and market dynamics to further reinforce our role as a trusted partner in an increasingly complex logistics landscape.”

With nearly 30 years of experience at DHL across North America and Latin America, Dave brings deep expertise in finance, performance management, and operations. In 2015, Moss was appointed Chief Financial Officer for DHL Supply Chain, Latin America, where he led finance and strategy for a €1.7 billion region spanning 10 countries. Throughout his career, he demonstrated a strong ability to partner with leaders to deliver disciplined financial management, advance a robust commercial agenda, and optimize cost efficiencies.
