DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist of DHL Group, has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with JA Solar and Haier | RRS to strengthen global logistics collaboration supporting Chinese companies expanding internationally.
The agreements were signed on March 24, 2026, at DHL NOW & NEXT in Shanghai, DHL’s flagship global logistics summit where industry leaders and supply chain experts gathered to discuss developments in global trade, supply chain resilience, and logistics innovation. This year’s Edition highlighted DHL’s role in enabling global growth opportunities connecting China to the world, as China remains one of DHL’s most important strategic markets. At the summit, DHL showcased its global logistics capabilities, deep local market expertise, and sector-specific best practices for Chinese companies striving towards a more global footprint.

Strengthening renewable energy supply chains with JA Solar
New Energy is a key growth initiative under DHL Group’s Strategy 2030: Accelerating Sustainable Growth, and solar is one of the eight key segments that the Group is focusing and developing end-to-end logistics solutions for.
The partnership between DHL Global Forwarding and JA Solar will encompass a comprehensive scope of global logistics and supply chain collaboration, including air freight, ocean freight, multimodal transportation solutions, and overseas warehousing services with value‑added support where applicable. Both companies will also work closely on last‑mile delivery and destination Distribution network development, warehouse network planning and optimization, and initiatives enhancing operational visibility through Transportation Management System (TMS) integration. To further strengthen supply chain resilience, the collaboration includes joint reviews of routing and network strategies to improve service stability and cost efficiency, as well as regular sharing of market and operational intelligence for proactive contingency planning. Additionally, DHL and JA Solar will explore digitalization programs that enhance visibility and analytics, and pursue sustainability‑related cooperation, including sustainable solutions, decarbonization initiatives, and potential collaboration in green power, energy storage, and other mutually agreed areas.
As China accelerates its energy transition, China’s new energy sector continues to expand rapidly. Logistics partnership with Haier | RRS
DHL Global Forwarding and Haier | RRS, the supply chain subsidiary of Haier Group, have agreed to collaborate on international logistics and supply chain services. The partnership spans air and Ocean freight, multimodal transportation solutions, overseas warehousing services, distribution network collaboration, warehouse network optimization, Transportation Management System (TMS)-related integration, operational visibility initiatives, as well as customs and trade compliance consulting.
Haier has established a strong presence in more than 200 countries and regions, with Overseas revenue from Haier Smart Home accounting for over 50% of its total business.
