Data Protection Notice – “Mein Verein” Campaign
DHL Hub Leipzig GmbH, Hermann-Köhl-Str. 1, 04435 Schkeuditz, is responsible for the implementation of the “Mein Verein” campaign. For this purpose, your personal data (Club contact person: Salutation, first name, last name, function within the club, e-mail address, telephone (optional); and the contact details of the submitting person: Salutation, first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone (optional)) will be processed for the execution of the campaign and related contact for winner notification.
In the event of a win, additional data required for financial processing (in particular club data and, if applicable, bank details of the winning club) will be disclosed to and processed by SC DHfK Handball, Goyastraße 2d, 04105 Leipzig. The legal basis for the processing of this data is the performance of the contract resulting from participation in the campaign, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) subpara. 1 (b) GDPR ("performance of a contract"). The disclosure of data to SC DHfK Handball takes place exclusively for the purpose of proper financial processing of the prize.
We require the contact details for rapid communication regarding prize processing and notification of the winner. Furthermore, we inform the submitting person that they were the one who secured the prize for the club, allowing us to coordinate further communication materials/publications with the individuals involved. SC DHfK Handball processes the transmitted bank details of the winning clubs data under its own responsibility and exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection regulations. The personal data of the participating clubs' contact persons and the submitting person will be deleted immediately after the campaign has been carried out. In the event of a win, the club name as well as the data of the club contact person and the submitting person will be stored until the prize processing is completed and then deleted.
By submitting this participation form, the aforementioned data is electronically transmitted to DHL Hub Leipzig GmbH, Communications Department, which processes this data for the further execution of the campaign. In the event of a win, the necessary data for the proper financial settlement of the profit will additionally be transmitted to SC DHfK Handball. Please note that the contact form for participation in the competition is protected by transport encryption only, not end-to-end encryption. DHL Hub Leipzig GmbH guarantees the confidential handling of your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties as part of this campaign. Only the name of the winning club will be published during the draw, on the website dhl.com/Mein Verein, and on the DHL Group Intranet. If applicable, the club name may also be published on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
If your personal data is processed by a service provider (e.g., IT services), it is ensured that such data processing is carried out in accordance with a corresponding Controller-to-Processor-Agreement (CPA). Your data will only be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) if this is permissible under applicable data protection law. In such cases, it is ensured that adequate safeguards are in place for the transfer of your data (e.g., Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs), EU Standard Contractual Clauses). The DHL Group Data Privacy Policy governs the group-wide standards for the processing of your data.
By participating in the campaign and submitting the contact form, you confirm that you have obtained the prior consent of the participating club's contact person for the disclosure and processing of the data to DHL Hub Leipzig GmbH, as well as regarding the publication of the club's name in the event of a win, and that you have brought this Data Protection Notice to their attention.
Please contact lejhubdatenschutz@dhl.com if you wish to exercise your data subject rights (including the right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, and the right to object). Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
