Customer Challenge
Bamboi has a diverse customer base: from B2B customers – for example, wholesalers in the hygiene space – as well as B2C consumers. They have also witnessed firsthand how meeting local conditions is invaluable: they note, for example, that accepting cash on delivery is critical in securing business in some countries.
Leroy Ranglek, Co-Founder, tells us more: “Since our inception in 2022, we have grown significantly and are already selling to Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.” It was time to find a fulfillment provider who could deliver to all these countries and more, and become a true logistics partner.
DHL Fulfillment Network Solution
Leroy describes the onboarding phase with DHL Fulfillment Network: “It was very structured and robust. There are thorough processes and customer manuals already in place, which means setup is fast. The team were quick to reply and when we had an IT request to explore, the team came back with a response that worked well for us.”
DHL Fulfillment Network’s services fit well with the needs of Bamboi: smooth data integration with Bamboi’s Shopify site, pick-and-pack services provided by very capable teams, great key account support, and local last-mile options. The global spread of DHL Fulfillment Network’s warehouses means that it’s easy to scale up (and down, if needed) and move into new markets easily – in a way that’s “plug and play”, as Leroy says. And as with all customers, Bamboi benefit from DHL Fufillment Network’s advanced inventory insights tool, which gives visibility of stock by location, allowing rebalancing between locations and monitoring when restocks will be needed.
When you partner with a big player such as DHL, you can expect them to meet your standards of professionalism, from the setup phase through to delivery to your customers.

We and DHL have a vital common goal: to be sustainable. Our toilet paper itself is the starting point for us: bamboo is the world’s fastest growing plant, it stores considerably more CO2 than trees, and it can be grown without pesticides or other chemicals. Our products are also unbleached, meaning they are free from chemicals and hypoallergenic.”
Leroy continues: “Carrying this sustainable outlook into our fulfillment is extremely important to us. With DHL, we can store our goods closer to our customers, which reduces the carbon footprint of fulfillment – along with our costs. We can put our trust in a company the size of DHL to be a frontrunner in sustainability.” Green logistics reduces emissions and waste and is in fact increasingly a requirement of customers.
“The Bamboi team is so proud to have evolved from being an ambitious start-up to now being a thriving scale-up,” concludes Leroy. “We have learnt that we like to work in a business where the answer is “Yes!” Yes, to growth, yes to sustainability, yes to making the right decisions. This positive outlook has been our driving force, and we look forward to our partnership with DHL taking us to the next phase in our journey – including beyond Europe.”
