There are many different software solutions available for you when you want to perform automated shipping with DHL. None of the solutions are owned or developed by DHL - but they all rely on our APIs.

Even though we can’t provide support for software that isn’t our own, we have good knowledge about common technical problems and how to overcome them. We fully support our own APIs - email us at or fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

It can be hard to discern between what may be a problem related to DHL and what is not. Currently we have no known problems in our APIs that are used by TA systems or eCommerce plugins.

Our current recommendation is that you seek support in the following order:

Your eCommerce plugin

As this often is the connection point between your shop, the checkout and the TA system (if you have such), this is where most problems occur. Contact your plugin software maker first.

Your TA system

If the problem can’t be isolated to plugins the problem may reside in the TA system and its setup in relation to DHL. Your TA support will guide you and make sure you have your DHL account information available whilst doing so.
