Enjoy separate insurance to give you extra protection and security. We always do our utmost, but sometimes the unforeseen occur that involve loss or damage to goods. Our liability does not always cover the full value of the goods.

With DHL Cargo insurance, you have a reliable full-value insurance with extra security without deductible. This means that you can feel safe sending goods with DHL Freight. You can book cargo insurance with myDHLFreight or through an approved TA-system or EDI.

With our Swedish value-added service GoGreen Plus*, your company can both gain insight into the emissions associated with your transports and reduce them by contributing to the increased use of electric vehicles, biofuels, and alternative vehicle technologies.

The concept is simple. As a business customer, you purchase the GoGreen Plus service (previously called Skicka Grönt) for your shipment. We then replace conventional fossil diesel with alternative energy sources such as electricity or biofuels for an equivalent transport. The additional cost is used to cover carriers’ higher expenses for investments in alternative vehicle technologies and renewable fuels.

When you choose GoGreen Plus in Sweden, you actively support the transition towards more sustainable transportation and contribute to emission-reducing initiatives within our Swedish transport network. Even if your specific shipment cannot be transported using alternative fuels on a particular day, we ensure that an equivalent transport elsewhere in our Swedish network is carried out using biofuels or electricity instead.

As a result, you can claim a reduction in fossil emissions compared with a standard shipment. The reduction is calculated and allocated according to the GoGreen Plus Sweden methodology, which is independently reviewed and verified by the third-party certification body SB-Cert. Your emissions data and achieved reductions are available in your customized emissions report, which is provided free of charge.

*GoGreen Plus in Sweden is a value-added service to a DHL shipment contributing to decarbonization measures within DHL’s logistics network. By using alternative fuels and/or technologies DHL reduces the usage of fossil fuels in the mode of transport used for the GoGreen Plus shipment. This does not necessarily mean that the specific shipment is physically transported with the assets using these fuels or technologies. If you would like to see delivery details about a shipment afterwards, we can supply a copy of the shipping document. For example, it could clarify who has signed for a delivery.

How to access this document, differs a little by product.

If you use our Active Tracing service, you can produce your own transport document free of charge. For those without access to Active Tracing, a POD hard copy can be ordered through our Customer service and is charged according to the price list.
