Understanding the Process
You now have two distinct ways to select GoGreen Plus with DHL Express: either through a customized contract or when choosing your shipping service through MyDHL+, DHL Express online shipping and DHL tracking platform.
Under the agreement-based model, your business decides how much it wants to reduce its CO2e emissions and how much to invest in Sustainable Aviation Fuel. This setup provides total operational adaptability. DHL Express channels your funding directly to procure SAF. An independent auditor conducts annual verifications of the emission reduction value of the purchased SAF, while ensuring that all investments have been exclusively used for SAF procurement.
Your company will receive an official certificate stating the emission reduction value, which can be used to reduce your own Scope 3 footprint.
DHL will invoice your organization based on your preference—either as a lump sum or a per-pound fee—along with a complimentary Carbon Footprint report.
