Frequently asked questions
A DHL Aviation Cargo tracking number is a unique 11-digit number used to identify and track your shipment throughout the transportation process.
The tracking number is assigned when a booking is created and is included in your booking confirmation email. It can also be found on the MAWB (Master Air Waybill) document.
Tracking events appear when cargo reaches an operational checkpoint. In general, once the shipment has reached the DHL Aviation Cargo facility/third party handler, the first tracking event will appear.
If your tracking number or ID is not working, it may not yet be active in the system. Tracking information becomes available once the shipment has been processed and the first tracking event has been recorded.
In some cases, it may take some time after booking or acceptance before the tracking data is visible. Please try again later if no information is displayed immediately.
If the issue persists, please verify that the tracking number is correct in the first instance, before contacting your account manager or customer service for assistance.
