  • Ilhami Arslanoglu was appointed as the Vice President for Life Sciences and Healthcare of DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation, EMEA in July 2020. Passionate about the life sciences and healthcare industry, he leads a team responsible for the Group’s top customers in the region, leading and providing senior counsel to help simplify and manage complex international supply chains for the world’s leading enterprises.

    Ilhami first joined DHL in 2007 as DHL Supply Chain EMEA’s Vice President for Automotive and Industrial, where he was responsible for driving the automotive and industrial development business. He then moved to DHL Global Customer Solutions in EMEA as VP of Automotive where he developed the passenger vehicle sub-sector for the Group and grew the company’s share of business from major automotive manufacturers globally. He has more than 20 years of logistics industry experience – with more than 15 years especially focused on the dynamic and swiftly evolving automotive logistics industry.

  • Min-Yuan Seow serves as the Global Vice President of Logistics and Distribution for BD (Becton Dickinson and Company), a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.

    He leads the global transportation, logistics, global trade and distributor management across BD and is a member of BD’s Global Supply Chain Leadership Team.

    Seow joined BD in 2010 as logistics manager. He has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain industries, having assumed various positions in Hewlett Packard (HP), STMicroelectronics and DB Schenker prior to joining BD.

    Seow graduated from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with an Honors degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering. He earned his post graduate Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from National University of Singapore and Master of Business Administration from IE Business School, Madrid. 

  • After finishing his Diploma in industrial engineering at the universities of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) and Quingdao (China), Matthias started his career as a strategy consultant with Accenture. He specialized in supply chain and logistics consulting, mainly in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. He left the company after 12 years as managing director to take over the role as “Head of global warehousing and transportation” for Bayers healthcare divisions, overseeing all global logistics operations.  

    For several years, Matthias was also working as head of operations for a medium sized automotive supplier, overseeing quality, logistics and manufacturing. In all his positions, Matthias always was a strong driver for change and innovation, leading several significant transformation programs.

  • Prof. Dr. Koen Kas is a Healthcare visionary, delight thinker, healthtech entrepreneur, professor Molecular Oncology & Digital health/healthtech at the University of Ghent, renowned international keynote speaker and author of 'Sick no more' and 'Your guide to Delight’. 

    He is founding CEO of Healthskouts. Healthskouts deliver the inspiration, insights & connections needed to help eradicate disease & make healthcare delightful. Healthskouts curates the public database of certified digital health Apps & devices, digital therapeutics, and Software as a medical Device.

  • As Head of Sustainability in DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI), Florian Schwarz is responsible to drive the Sustainability agenda for and with the top 100 customers across the Deutsche Post DHL divisions. This includes achieving a carbon footprint reduction through the GoGreen product portfolio of clean fuel & technology, supply-chain optimization, and circularity solutions. It also means educating DHL’s sales organization on sustainability and demonstrating thought leadership inside and outside of the organization.

    In his previous role in DHL CSI, Florian was responsible for the Program Office and the Coronavirus Customer Taskforce. Before that, with DHL Global Forwarding, Florian created and lead the After-Sales Organization which took customer reporting and issue resolution to a new level, building on his extended experience as Lean Six-Sigma Blackbelt and Head of Strategy France. Florian holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and lived and worked in different countries in Europe and Americas.

  • As Vice President of Life Sciences and Healthcare Americas since March 2017, Claudia Roa is responsible for developing sector strategy, enabling and driving the development of best-fit end-to-end solutions, creating business growth opportunities for DPDHL’s largest customers, and driving innovation. She is a member of the Customer Solutions & Innovation Senior Management Team and the DHL Life Sciences & Healthcare Customer Logistics Board.

    Her career started at AEI/Florcarga in Colombia, where she held various key leadership positions, including sales and operations management, and was managing director of the Free Trade Zone Distribution Center. DPDHL acquired AEI/Florcarga in 1998 and Claudia relocated from Colombia to the USA in 2003. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Javeriana of Bogota, Colombia. Claudia speaks Spanish, English and some Portuguese, and has two children.

  • Niko Polvinen is a serial tech entrepreneur and a passionate technology visionary. He is a co-founder and the Chair of the Board of Finnish technology company Logmore Oy. 

    Niko’s career has revolved around improving logistics and ensuring quality with data. He believes data and improved analyses are the keys to reducing global food and pharmaceutical waste, lowering carbon emissions, and directly saving lives by ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products.

  • Thibault started his career at GE Healthcare where he held several Global Supply Chain positions, from Logistic Sourcing to Distribution strategy in France and in Germany.

    In 2020, Thibault moved to Cytiva (Danaher Corporation) as part of GE Life Sciences' sell-off to Danaher where he took the Global Supply Chain Sustainability role. He now leads the Sustainability transformation effort for Cytiva, including Packaging, Transportation, Warehousing, and Sourcing activities.

    Is this event open to everyone?

    Attendance to the Life Sciences & Healthcare Conference 2022 is open only to invited delegates. Any requests to register will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. DHL reserves the right to reject or cancel any registration due to limited capacity or any other discretionary reasons it deems necessary.

    Is there a cost to attending the conference?

    DHL does not charge a delegate fee to attend this conference. 

    Is there a dress code? 

    We recommend “business casual” for delegates.

    What accommodation will be available for the conference?  

    DHL has secured room-blocks with a number of hotels close to the venue, at preferable rates. Upon registration, guests will be able to indicate their lodging requirements in order for us to secure a room from the block booking. Guests will be responsible for settling their accommodation accounts during check-out. Further information on the hotels to follow.
