myDHLi: A New Generative AI Assistant to Boost Your Logistics Efficiency
DHL updates myDHLi to help your business become more resilient and sustainable
Since its launch in 2020, myDHLi has constantly evolved to better meet customer needs. Now featuring a new generative AI powered virtual assistant it is more user-friendly and efficient than ever. Consequently, it now provides users with greater visibility, control, and efficiency across their logistics operations.
myDHLi provides real-time access to quotes, transport modes, carbon emissions, and other key shipment data. Accessing the interface on any device, customers can analyze their logistics activities using a range of filters and customizable views – putting them firmly in the driver’s seat when it comes to transparency and data-driven decision making.
AI Helping Hand
Making the intuitive tool even more user friendly, myDHLi now features a generative AI assistant that puts the data they need at their fingertips. Using the 24/7 chatbot, customers can now receive support on any number of issues as well as inquire about things like shipment statuses, and contact details etc.
But that does not mean that real-life help has taken a back seat. On the contrary, an important upgrade is the addition of a new Customer Support Center.
Elsewhere on the usability front, myDHLi Track has undergone a major overhaul to improve the user interface by displaying shipment information, including house bill, status, exceptions, timestamps and locations, clearly and concisely on a single screen with less need to scroll. myDHLi Track is now easier to use on smaller screens thanks to our improved mobile view which now includes the ability to filter the shipment list.
Built for Turbulent Times
In the face of unpredictable crises and conflicts, resilience has also played a significant role in the upgrades. To this end, myDHLi Track now features an "exceptions" filter in the shipment list that allows users to track their shipments and keep pace with unforeseen alterations to routes and schedules.
However, if they prefer, they can also configure myDHLi to proactively send them individual or consolidated daily digest updates listing key milestones such a status changes or for “exceptions”. Likewise, users can now also set myDHLi Reports to focus on “exceptions” as well as any other number of data points. Additional improvements include new customs and ocean freight detention, demurrage, and storage report templates to name just a few.
Driving Sustainable Logistics
myDHLi comes with various tracking, reporting, quoting, and analytics options designed to help customers with their sustainability efforts. myDHLi Quote + Book, for example, lets users select GoGreen Plus and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by leveraging sustainable fuels.
myDHLi Analytics, on the other hand, quantifies the benefits of DHL GoGreen solutions in terms of their CO2e footprint and efficiency. As part of the upgrade, myDHLi Analytics now provides a detailed breakdown of emissions insetting (biofuel) as well as the ability to distil these further down using the full range of regular filters.
